Mothers Day = New Running Shoes

Broke them in by running 5 miles on the treadmill yesterday...wahoo!!!!

Gardens, Grass and Guhhhh....okay whatever

So, our garden is doing wonderful!!! These are our first 2 zuchinis that we picked!!! We have picked 3 more since then (about this same size!) and there's one more ready to be picked probably in the next few days. We also picked 6, yes 6...cherry tomatoes today! They were SO yummy!! We also picked 3 cucumbers!!! I wasn't sure about the cucumbers because they looked kind of funny, but my mom said to just cut 'em up and they'd be fine! They were delish!!! We have lots of spinach and lettuce that keeps growing and growing too. It has been such a wonderful experience to grow our own stuff and hope that our watermelon will come too! Rebekkah, I think is the most excited! She goes out and waters the garden every morning and most days after school she goes out and looks at it and counts everything we have! Then she comes and gives us a report!
Our soon to be landlords came across some free sod off of craigs list and brought it to our house last weekend. Nathan and his brother put it in...obviously there isn't enough to fill up our whole yard, but its neat looking back there and seeing a little patch! We hope to get some more soon!!!
