Dear Fellow Bloggers,
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that I would be doing what I am doing, let alone writing you this letter asking for your help, but here I am and I am humbly asking for your help.
When my sweet Aunt Charlotte passed way after her battle with breast cancer, it was a great loss for our entire family. Since that time, I would hear the advertisements on the radio about the Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure and wish that I could join in and help somehow. But I just never made the decision to do it.
Well, for some reason, this year I was pushed and inspired to do something. Maybe it was because my Uncle Galen was diagnosed with cancer this year, I don’t know, but I do know this---we can make a difference and we can do something to help.

So, after much thinking, I decided to join my mom and sister-in-law Becky to raise $2200.00 (per person!) and walk 60 miles in 3 days. So, this is where you all come in…I’m asking my friends and family to help us achieve our goal. We can do the training (which we have already started) and we will be doing the walking, but we are asking for your help financially. If you feel inspired to help me in my goal and help to find a cure, please go to my website. I know that most of your own lives have been affected in some way by this terrible disease – a mother, sister, aunt, friend, or even yourself – and I know that you, like I, would like to be able to do something in their memory. So please dig deep and help in any way that you can.
We have named our team “Charlotte’s Walk” and are walking in her honor, however, when you go on line to make your donation you can honor whoever you would like and we’ll walk for them too. Below is a link to my website where you can make your donation. A tax deductible receipt will be forwarded to you.

Thank you for your support. I am grateful to have this opportunity to do something, but I couldn’t do it without you.
