The Great Outdoors

We had a great time on saturday! i was so happy to be out on the trail...the girls all did a great job!! we went over to gold canyon and hiked up to see the hieroglyphics (no idea on spelling).

we saw this little guy...

and this BIG one!!!! the kids Loved seeing the snake!

Rylie did a great job sleeping the whole time!!! hahahahaha But it felt so good to be out with her. Breastfeeding was a little tricky, but we managed!!!!

Jeremy and Leah said...: Hiking...sounds nice! We have been planning a hike for weeks and every Saturday it has rained. Of course Sunday was beautiful but it had to rain on Saturday. We'll get out hiking one of these days.

Jake and Alisa said...: Looks like fun! I like that hike. I snake crossed in front of us last year and called it quits until winter time. You should try the Lost Dutchman hike with the kids. It's pretty flat with small hills most of the time. If you go a little further down the 60 from the hike you just did, to the Peralta trail, you take the Dutchman trail instead of the Peralta which goes up to the Fremont saddle. That one's good too but may be too much for you kiddos, maybe not though.; April 22, 2009 at 7:42 PM
