After crossing the finish line! It was a GREAT run...I didn't know that it was going to be a trail run...with hills....hahaha....but I had a LOT of fun. I would definitely run this one again!!!!
Me and cute hubby (yes that is a CAST on his leg. decided to have his ankle checked out from the accident, and well, it was broke! Don't I feel sheepish for telling him to stop being such a baby and just WALK on it!!! hahahahahaha)

We were all standing there waiting around after the race, to here the results....
And what do you know! They called my name! hahahahaI took 2nd place for my age division...can i get a woot woot??
I was very happy...I took 11th overall for women and got 51st for overall competitors!
AND I had a personal best for time!
It felt great to have done a race again and I had a lot of fun AND had great company!!!!
Now its onward!!! There's a few 1/2 marathons in the fall....
and THE big one...a full marathon November 1st!!!!

Congratulations Anissa! I love it when I have a good run - haven't managed to have one on a race day but still!!! By the way, the Hoover Dam Marathon is on OCTOBER 31ST....and just to remind you....that's only 17 short weeks away! I think I'm getting nervous already. Ha,ha.

Way to go Niss! Not everyone gets to place 2nd in their age group and you did! Our age group is usually the most present too. Amazing! See...you still got it!
