A Little of This, A Little of That

Some good times happened over the last month....mainly CAMPING....I have been waiting all summer for the chance to go, and let me tell you...so glad we got to go!!!!
Lots of pictures, lots of fun, lots of time to think and feel renewed....
most know I love being outside, definitely good times!!!

The kids at the creek....the first camping trip we went on was with our good friends, the Goodrich's....Kadens a little cutie!!!!
Rylie girl was in LOVE with all the flowers...she even learned how to say flowah (her talking) while we were there!!!
simpleness....

Dad and girl...so precious...
Totally in love w/this picture of my abby...gorgeous girl!!!

We didnt catch any fish....but they had fun trying!!!!

Daddy and Brent did catch some crawdads tho!!! I got the kids to even hold them....
after the initial scare, they were hooked!!!!

The last morning we were there, I found a horny toad and the girls LOVED her...they named her Roxy....they wanted to take her home but convinced them not to, that she needed to stay in her "home"....Rebekkah wanted to keep her SO bad, as you can tell in the picture, she has tears in her eyes!!

I love him....
I love him...alot

Walker and his cousin Sammy....too cute

Looking forward to:
  • Finishing "Blackbird" by Jennifer Lauck and starting "Homeschooling and the Voyage of Self Discovery" by David H Albert
  • Finding a balance...being happy w/myself, my family and where we're at....finding joy each day in my surroundings
  • Night-time cuddling
  • Early morning workouts
  • Emails from the library telling me the books I request are IN!!!
  • Packing boxes (not really, but just trying to get motivated here)
  • New home adventures
  • Receiving the package on my doorstep w/my new running shoes
  • Daily reading w/the kids...currently reading the American Girl series and Swiss Family Robinson w/the girls....As for Walker, he picked out 4 books this time and they are ALL about trucks and vroom vrooms
  • De-Cluttering and giving lots and lots of stuff away
  • More meaningful scripture study
  • Revisiting my dreams, goals, personal thoughts

I [heart] camping too. There is just something about it that puts things in perspective!

Regarding what you're looking forward to...if you have stuff to give away I'll be making runs over to Robin Gore (lives near Bishop) for the upcoming garage sale to help her friend Valerie who is fighting cancer. They are needing donations! Let me know and I can help!

I love your blog!
