Life in the City

Here we are....back in Mesa....its definitely been an adjustment for me. And I'm still adjusting. I guess I didnt realize how much Queen Creek really did have a feel of the "country". Now I know what I like and don't like! The new house is good. I'm still adjusting to that too. I miss lots of things about where we were, and I don't like lots of things where we are now. But I'll get there, hopefully soon!! (I hate the way this house smells! BAAAAAA) One thing I really miss is my bathtub...BOO!!!

Anyway, here's whats been going on lately....
We took a trip to the zoo (haven't been since Rebekkah was like 2!!! HA!) with my good friend Carrie and her kids. We all had a good time and it was great seeing them.

Don't you wanna just Squeeze her????!!!!
The kids love painting...anything to do with "crafts" really. But lately, its painting.
Good ol' dad has this bench thingy he brought from the other house.
Its perfect for them to set up all their stuff and NOT get my table inside the house totally messed up! The weather lately has been great! They love that they can do so much
of this type of stuff cz they are homeschooled!
Cute Abby turned 8 on the 23rd!!! We had a little get together w/a few cousins and a few friends from QC! We had homemade pizza for dinner, YUM!
We played the flour game...it was so funny listening to all the girls squeel!!
Poor Abby was the first to have to find the penny!!!
Since its so close to halloween, we made sugar cookies and they got to decorate them all.
Abby also got baptized. She wore her sisters baptism dress and looked so pretty!
What a good lookin' Fam!!!!
I'm not gonna lie. I have really struggled since the move. I love being close to my parents and brother and good friends here. But I also really miss my good friends and family that are in QC. I have kind of "lost" myself since the move, but I'm slowly getting out of that. (I hope) I know that we are here for a reason and I'm learning once again how much my husband and children mean to me. And what is really important at this time. I am learning, I am growing, I am changing and hopefully I can be where I want to be once again.
Emotionally, Physically and Spritually.

I am sorry it is difficult. It is true that we all go through that at some point. It is not an easy thing to go through. Mourn the losses that you have had. Praying that you will be "found" soon!!!

It is so hard to move from those you love and a life that seemed to fit you better. You are strong and capable and will adjust with time. You are always an example to me.

Congrats on Abby's baptism! Goodness, your family is so big and it has been far too long since we have had the pleasure of seeing the Chapman's.
