Oh...the days of February....

The kids LoVe being in the kitchen. If I'm not in the mood for help, and tell them they can't help...all hell breaks looks and I'm a horrible mother. So! Most days, all kids are trying to "help" in one way or another!! And I'm continuing my efforts of "chilling out" and having them help because DUH! How else are they gonna learn??!!

Daddy had gone to a campout w/the scouts and the kids wanted pancakes....
They pretty much did these all by themselves!

Oh, just let me squeeze her one more time!!!

Don't ask what his expression is for....HA!
The girls making their valentine craft! They had a ton of fun doing these and did a great job too!
Another little helper...he had actually gone to a bday party earlier that day for a friend of his. He came home with the cute chef hat and apron!!
(Which Abby keeps calling his CHIEF hat...hello???) So fun!
And this cute guy had a birthday!!! No Walker, I'm NOT talking about you,
I'm talking about your father!!!!
I had gone to the dollar store to get a few things and decided it would be fun to get streamers while we were there. HA! The kids had a blast putting them up...we never put up decorations! We even made him blow out candles....baaaaaa...
Looking forward to:
More family reading in Fablehaven

I love your posts!

Regarding the kids in the kitchen...my aunt gave us a cookbook for kids, A Cookbook for Mommy & Me, Learning to Be a Little Helper. It's perfect for our kiddos and not too expensive. I think I saw it on Amazon for $10. Can't remember exactly but it's worth it!
