This is my amazingly beautiful, cute sister in law, with her amazingly beautiful, cute DAUGHTER!!!! This "gal" is one of my most favorite people to talk to. I called her today, see how things were going in Moab Country and just to chat.

My sis told me this, not to dwell in the sadness of her growing up, but to look at what a great stage of life that she is in! She's Five! Look at what she can do now!!! And so on and so on. I know that growing up is just a part of life!! And I can be happy for her and what she is experiencing now! So THANKS Jenny! Thanks for making me open my eyes a little bit!
Now that the weather has turned cooler (FINALLY!) Walker and I stroll down and pick Abby up from preschool. Usually she wants to ride her scooter home, but for some reason, today she just "wants to walk Mom"
So we're just walking...and I'm just watching her. Walking with such confidence, with her cool Pink backpack on her back. After a while I just blurted out...I love you Abby. She looks at me and gives me her smile of dimples...and says, I love you too. (Pauses for a minute) Then adds, and I love Rebekkah, Walker, Daddy...AND I love myself! It's good to love myself mom. It sure is Abby!! (let's hope she goes through her WHOLE life w/that attitude!)

oh her dimples kill me. i can't believe how big she is either.. sniff, sniff. i still remember coming over when you just had her. (actually i remember that w/ rebekkah too) haha. she is soo beautiful!
cute cute girl! i love little girls! they do grow up so fast, it's crazy! but they are fun at all ages!
yeah...her dimples...she just might be a heart breaker with those things! :)
So cute. Your kids look exactly like both of you.
it's hard when you see your kids growning up and sometimes i find myself wishing that my kids were about 2-3 years younger than they are. but then i remind myself that when they're older, 15, 20 and so on, i'll wish for the day that they were 5. now, if we could only freeze time!
She is so beautiful! And I hope she continues to love herself. We can all learn from that little golden nugget of wisdom from an almost 5 year old. I remember when the kid was born and we went to visit you in the hospital, crazy! 5 years just flies on by, enjoy them!
What a cutie Abby is.
So sweet. My oldest will be 5 soon. It is hard to believe. IT seems like yesterday I saw you pregnant out on the softball field playing city ball. WOW has it been that long???
Ok, I saw you from a distance at the park and I wanted to actually introduce myself and then you were gone!!! But you did make it in the background of a pic on my blog while you were talking to Sara. We need to have a Blogger Party...I know I am really the biggest geek ever.
P.S. Your little girl and her dimples are to die for. I agree, I am so sad that my kids are growing so fast...but then again, it is getting to be more fun!
Good words of advice!! What a sweet story! I love that, and her attitude!! Awesome!! :) Having your kids grow up really is bittersweet!!
Anissa! You're so sweet..and one of my favorite people to talk to too. I hope Abb had a great birthday. And I hope you coped okay. Love you.
