
I put this picture up, in hopes that I will be inspired. This is me (obviously) in the middle of one of the 10K's I ran last year. Very happy, and all SMILES!!!! I'm hoping that this will be me tomorrow, on mile 13!!!! I heard somewhere that running, was 90% mental, and 10% physical....I definitely believe that to be true. I experienced that while on my training run yesterday morning. My mind tries to tell my body that I can't do it....so I am constantly reminding myself and saying in my head..."I can do this...I am STRONG!!!" I am SO greatful for a good husband who is so supportive and keeps telling me that I can do it. I can't wait to cross that finish line and be in the arms of my hubby and kids..it will be quite the rush.

i am by no means a runner but it's been my experience that being in a race and having competitors gives you an increased level of energy, stamina and mental strength. being mentally strong = physically strong. now for the real secret....nike shoes!(and feather your bangs if you have the time!:)
