I am a Domestic Goddess....!!!

This, is my wheat grinder....a few weeks ago, I bought this along with.....
THIS!!!! My new Bosch!!!! I think I'm in love....:)
And today, I produced THIS!!!!! (you like the horn on top???!!!! I'm not perfect OK???!!!!Apparently I didn't get all of the air pockets out while I was making the loaf, like your supposed to...woopsies!!)
And THIS!!!!!
This is Whole Wheat Bread....not the CRAP you get from the store that has added EVERYTHING...and NOTHING good for you...I ground my wheat, stuck my ingredients in my little Bosch machine...and away we went!! I'm very proud of myself, seeing as how this is the first time I've done this, without the assistance of my mommy!!!! ha! AND it even tastes good....I will be making bread from now on!!! The kids are so excited...they LOVE homemade bread, and what do you know? This kind is actually good for them and has VITAMINS in it!!!! (Don't tell them that)

Your bread looks so yummy! I would love to have the recipe. I love my wheat grinder, but your looks a little more modern than the one I have. But mine was a gift from my mom so I don't complain :)

Oh yummy. I have a friend in my ward who gives me homemade bread for things she's run out of like baby wipes and diapers. We love it. I don't know if you have heard of Chef Brad, but he holds bread making classes that I hear are fantastic and worth the money.

Wow, I'm impressed. I got a wheat grinder for Christmas 2006 and I've never even opened the box. I know, I'm so bad. I really should. Your bread looks fantastic.

My mom had made the sacrament bread in their ward for about 25 years. I am sure the longest calling in church history. Maybe this is your new calling...... it looks yummy. Their is nothing better than home made bread. I have so many memories of my mom making bread and you would think I would know how to make it but I don't. Brandon threatens me all the time he is going to tell the bishop I will start making the bread so I will be forced to learn. I have threatened to hurt him badly if he does.

I just got that exact wheat grinder for Christmas and I love it too. There's seriously nothing better than a homemade toasted piece of wheat bread. I have a Bosch too but it looks nothing like that. I really like the new look.

So, is that Bosch thingie a bread maker? Also, I never knew wheat grinding was such a big deal. (apparently all your friends besides me have one!) Perhaps it's an AZ thing?

Min...the bosch isn't a bread maker..per say...but by using the bosch, you don't have to kneed bread by hand, it does it for you:) the you make your loaves and throw it in the oven.. the wheat grinder isn't an az thing...they've been around for a LONG TIME...but they are much more advanced now a days...its the best way to have fresh whole wheat flour though!!!

So I know grinders have been around forever, since ancient mano/metate days, I just didn't realize they were so...popular these days. I don't personally know anyone else who has one. What is the Bosch sold for--is it a mixer? A kneader? It's such an odd shape I can't tell...and I thought I knew ALL about kitchen gadgets!

Min said...

Okay, mixer. Just had never seen one, had to look it up.

Yea! Love the bread, even if it is a bit horny (Valentine's Bread perhaps?), I think it gives it character. You should share your yummy bread recipe.

Aha! I agree with Heather! And I know the perfect place for you to share your bread recipe!! http://bad-girls-kitchen.blogspot.com/

No pressure--I'm just hoping your friends will join us too! Also, I haven't tried it yet, but I bet Becky's artisan bread recipe would be great with your fresh ground flour! (she says it's fast and easy to make!)
